Myra L. Baker, 90, formerly of Troupsburg, entered into rest on Saturday, April 21st 2012 at the Steuben County Health Care Facility in Bath, NY. Born in Troupsburg, NY on February 3rd 1922, she was the daughter of Arthur and Florence Waight Mattison. A graduate of Troupsburg Central School, she was a retired inspector from Corning Inc. She was a member of the Young Hickory Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Joyce (Gary) Leach of Addison, Eleanor (Fran) Malczynski of Olcott, NY and June Baker of San Francisco, CA, two sons, Herbert (Patty) Baker of Jasper, NY and Donald (Crystal) Baker of Fremont, Neb., her sister, Eleanor Mattison of Hornell, NY, two step sons, John (Mary) Kline of Addison, NY and David Kline of Bath, NY, a step daughter, Linda Rook of North Carolina, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Myra was preceded in death by her brothers, Beryle, Elwood, Kenneth and Craig Mattison and her step son, Richard Kline. Friends may call on Wednesday, April 25th at 10:00 AM at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY where funeral services will be conducted immediately following visitation at 11:00 AM. Rev. Ellis Grist will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Troupsburg, NY. Service: Wednesday, April 25, 2012 11:00 AM H.P. Smith & Son, Inc.
