Painted Post - Pauline C. Borden, 78, of Absolut Care @ Three Rivers Health Care Facility, Painted Post, formerly of Addison, entered into rest on Saturday evening, April 21, 2012 at Absolut Care. Born in Corning on June 20, 1933, she was the daughter of William and Luella Morseman Borden. Pauline was a homemaker. She was a member of the Salvation Army and the former Independent Baptist Church in Elmira. Pauline was also a past member of the Elmira Moose Lodge and American Legion Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her son, Harold Gleason. Surviving are three daughters, Carol Frace of Dade City, FL, Bonnie (Larry) Patterson of Cameron and Sharon (Donald) Kies of Elmira, 12 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren, three brothers, Leroy Borden of Horseheads, Wayne Borden of Elmira and Maynard Borden of Fassett, Pa., three sisters, Waneta Oswald of Elmira, Gladys Keegan of Addison and Beatrice VanZile of Addison along with several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Thursday, April 26 from 3-5 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Funeral and committal services will follow at 5:00 PM with Rev. Richard Hack, Pastor of the Lighthouse Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Hedgesville Cemetery, Town of Woodhull. Service: Thursday, April 26, 2012 5:00 PM H.P. Smith & Son, Inc.
