HORNELL: Jean M. Graham, 92, of Crosby Creek Rd. passed away peacefully Wednesday morning (March 1, 2017) at her home following an extended illness. Jean was born August 15, 1924 in Hornell to Frank and Marie (Willis) Kellogg. On January 6, 1946 in Hornell, she married Gordon L. Graham who predeceased her in June of 2005. Jean was a graduate of Hornell High School class of 1943. She was a member and past President of the South Hornell Fire Dept. Auxiliary, a member of the former Hornell Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, and had also been a tax collector for the Town of Hornellsville for 20 years. Survivors include two daughters: Linda O’Rourke of Canisteo and Judy (Michael) Larsen of Hornell. 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Jean was predeceased by a son Neil Graham and a brother: Richard Kellogg, Sr. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm Sunday at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 29 East Main St. in Canisteo where funeral and committal services will take place immediately following calling hrs. at 4:00 pm with the Rev. Nathan Ruble officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Canisteo. Memorial contributions in Jean’s name may be made to Care First, 3805 Meads Creek Rd., Painted Post, N.Y. 14870.
