Obituary of Earl A. Jackson

Earl A. Jackson, 87, of St. Rte. 417, Addison, NY, passed away at home on Monday, June 5, 2017.

Earl was born in Woodhull, NY on Oct. 31, 1929, the son of Myron G. and Lena Towsley Jackson. He left school at a young age, as many of his era did in order to help provide for the needs of the family.

Earl eventually settled around Batavia, NY where he worked as a hand on dairy farms in Batavia and Alba. He returned to this area in retirement.

Earl is survived by his step daughter, Desiree Sumeriski of Batavia, his son, Donald G. Jackson and many nieces and nephews, including Fran and Amie Jackson of Addison, with whom he made his home.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, George Jackson, Marion Jackson, Hugh Jackson and Ford Jackson and his sisters, Lenora Vargeson and Mary Swankee.

A graveside service will be held at Woodhull Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
