Marilyn K. Treat of Park Place, Elmira, entered into rest on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Chemung County Health care Facility in Elmira following a brief illness.

Marilyn was born in Elmira, NY, the daughter of the late Cecil G. and Velma G. (Wiley) Kelley.

On April 12, 1969, she and Robert Charles Treat were married in Jobs Corners, PA. Bob preceded her in death on November 10, 2010.

Marilyn retired from Woodbrook in Elmira. She was previously employed at the Schuyler Health Foundation. She was a member of the New Beginnings Methodist Church in Elmira.

Besides her husband Bob, Marilyn was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Lazeski.

Surviving is her brother, James (Wanda) Kelley, her sisters, Joan Sawdey and Pauline Thorpe along with 21 nieces and nephews. Marilyn is truly thankful for the love shown by them all.

At Marilyn’s request, there will be no services.
