Obituary of Ronald D. Treat

       Ronald D. Treat, 75, of Cty. Rte. 25, Cameron Mills, NY, passed away at home on Friday, March 9, 2018.
       Ronnie was born in Corning, NY on March 31, 1942, the son of the late Carl S. and Nellie Calkins Treat. He was raised in Corning and attended the former Northside High School there. On February 6, 1965, he and the former Carolyn R. Clark were married at the Lindley Methodist Church.
       As a young man, Ronnie had been employed by General Crushed Stone and Barry Sand & Gravel as a loader operator. He retired as a truck driver from Leo Dickson & Sons in Cameron Mills. He was a life member of the Savona Rod & Gun Club.
       Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Treat at home, his sons and daughters in law, Richard and Donna Treat of Arkport, Carl and Michelle Treat of Bath and Jason Treat of Savona, 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, his sister, Darlene (Donald) Clark of Lindley, his brothers in law and sisters in law, Harvey and Bessie Clark, William and Sharon Clark, Barbara and Leslie Tabor, Loretta and Larry Swain, Edward and Robin Clark and Deanna Clark as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
       Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Nellie Treat, his brothers, Carl Treat Jr., Edwin Treat and Edward “Pete” Treat, his sister and her husband, Marjorie and Lynn Erickson, his brother in law, John Clark, his sister in law and brother in law, Elizabeth and Stan Casson and his father in law and mother in law, Walter and Bernice Clark.
       Following Ronnie’s wishes, there will be no services.
       Burial will be in Woodhull Cemetery.
