Heather P. Fitzwater Patterson, 43, of Canisteo, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 24, 2025 at St. James Hospital in Hornell. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on September, 27, 1981, Heather was the daughter of William and Deborah (Rahr) Fitzwater. She was an electrician at ATM in Hornell, NY. On July 20, 2024, she and Rodney Patterson Jr. were married in Woodhull, NY. Heather enjoyed dirt track racing, traveling, time with family, and side by side rides with family and friends. She was a hard worker and enjoyed wood crafting. She was very giving and never asked for help, and always helped anyone who asked. She was a loving mother, and could be stubborn. She was a stickler for Rodney trying new foods, and enjoyed cooking different dishes for the family to enjoy. She is survived by her husband Rodney of Woodhull, NY, her father William Fitzwater, her sons Nikolas (Lucianna) Hand of Canisteo, NY, Gavin Sapp of Canisteo, NY, Myklynn ( Kyle) Snow of Hornell, NY, Jospeh (Taiane) of Hornell, NY, Myranda (David) Patterson of Knoxville, PA, Rodney James Patterson of Woodhull, NY, Wesson Campbell, her Brother Bill Recktenwald of Canisteo, NY, nephew Samuel Miller (favorite child), her best friend Jessica Campbell and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Deborah (Rahr) Fitzwater. At this time there are will be no services. Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Inc., Funeral Home in Woodhull NY.
