Mary Linda's family moved into their new home on Caton Road when Mary Linda was I believe a junior in high school and since I lived around the corner on Speer Drive, we became fast friends and road the bus to West High School everyday.
After my graduation we both worked at the Food Mart, and had many laughs at the produce counter where I stood for 8 hours a shift weighing tomatoes! Mary Linda had the best sense of humor and we shared notes on her many customers at her checkout counter as well as boyfriends. When she met Ben, we both knew he was the one! And given the longevity of that relationship, I would say we were right!
We kept in touch over the years via email and Facebook. And continued to share many laughs about life, and family!
I will miss my dear friend and especially those long Christmas letters that filled me in on the whereabouts and doings of each and every member of her remarkable family. I often wondered what some members thought when they read a detailed account of their life in these letters, but Mary Linda was never one to shy away from the truth!
To say that many people will miss her is a gross understatement. Mary Linda was one of a kind, and we all greatly benefited by having her in our life.
All the best to Ben and their children, grand children and great grand children.
From an old friend and neighbor,
Gary Palmer

God has received a very special lady. She had a very beautiful voice and I loved singing next to her when we sang in the church choir. Sing on my friend as you spread those beautiful Angel Wings.

We had so many good times together at All Saints Academy.
MaryLinda helped me take things in stride, and we laughed so much and shared difficult times together.
She was a true blessing in my life!
I miss her wisdom and spirit, and just being able to talk about anything and everything.

I came to know Mary Linda later in her life after her mother met and eventually married my father after they had lost their spouses. Mary Linda always had a smile and a ready laugh and that she loved her family. She knew her mind and called it as she saw it and I respected her for that. My condolences to Ben and the family and her friends. Pat Keefer

I sit here trying to find words to express my sympathy, there just aren't enough ways to memorialize this incredible women. As first cousins we shared so much in our childhood and then renewed that closeness as adults, especially for the past 30 years as we shared lunches with our mothers and aunt. Those times will always be with me. My deepest sympathy to Ben, Christine, Kim, Benjamin and Kate and their families. Mary Linda'sr kindness, joy and love of family remains in you.

Sincerest condolences to Ben and the entire family during this difficult time. I hope all the great memories of your time together can help you through over the years. I cherish all the happy holiday parties we got to share with her and you all. When we were little, she would always make us feel welcomed, loved, and made sure we got fed as we were too shy to ask. She was always looking out for us. And when the party was at my parents' house on Thanksgiving, she was guaranteed to show up full of lively stories ( no gossip of course ) with her bright, bubbly personality and full of laughs. There's a new, bright star in the skies since last Sunday to help guide the rest of us to our final destinations, but our hearts will be a little emptier on our journey. RIP dear cousin. Your legacy lives on in all your offspring.

The first several years of my life, we lived on Park Avenue at my grandparents (after the war) across from Mary Linda and her family. I remember my mom and I would come over to visit and play with Mary Linda and her mom. Those were wonderfully different times!!! We were back in touch over the last couple years. It sounds like she will be greatly missed. Love and prayers to the family,
