Obituary of Donna M. Dennis

JASPER: Donna M. Dennis, 82, of Smith Rd. passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 at her winter home in Parrish, FL. Donna was born September 16, 1942 in the town of Jasper to the late Robert and Alice (Walrath) Irvine. On September 28, 1961 she married Carl Dennis who predeceased her in 2014. Donna was a lifelong resident of Jasper where she was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed reading, baking and taking long walks. When winter came along, she and Carl would make the trip to Florida to get out of the “Fridged” North country. Donna is survived by two sons, Greg (Julie) Dennis of Camillus and Shaun Dennis of Jasper. Two wonderful granddaughters Caroline Dennis and Audrey Dennis. She was predeceased by a brother Robert Irvine, Jr. and two sisters, Frances Gage and Phyllis Mayo. The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm Sunday, February 23, 2025 at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home in Woodhull, where funeral and committal service will take place following calling hours at 3:00 pm. Burial will be in Woodhull Cemetery.
