Remembering Andrea Joan Morrill
1951-2025
Andrea Joan Morrill, 74 , passed away suddenly on March 1, 2025, in Bath, New York. Born on January 28, 1951, in Syracuse, New York, she lived a life marked by independence, compassion, and an unwavering passion for the things she loved.
Andrea graduated in 1969, from Jordan-Elbridge High School and went on to build a meaningful career dedicated to helping others. She worked as a paralegal at the Attorney General’s Office in Rochester, New York, where her keen eye for detail and strong sense of justice served her well. Later, she became an Employment Caseworker at Pro Action in Bath, New York, where her caring nature and ability to listen made a lasting impact on those she assisted.
Beyond her professional life, Andrea was known for her free spirit and deep love for animals. She cherished her horses and shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Bernie. Her daughter and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she found immense joy in spending time with them. She also treasured moments with her siblings and close friends- whether enjoying a good glass of wine, listening to music, or engaging in lively conversations.
Andrea had a creative soul and expressed herself through reading books and writing poetry. She was passionate about her beliefs and never hesitated to stand up for what she felt was right. Her eccentricity and humor made her unforgettable to those who knew her, while her kindness and compassion left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
She is survived by her brothers John Morrill, James Morrill, and Don Morrill; her sister Betsy Kelly; her daughter Miriam (David) Lubberts; and her cherished grandchildren Roland, Bayleigh & Harper. She was predeceased by her parents Miriam Rosalie Dossert Morrill and George Samuel Morrill, as well as her sister Barbara Mary Morrill.
Andrea’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May the warmth of her spirit continue to bring comfort to all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with the time and location to be determined. Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, Woodhull, New York.
