The last time I was up in NY for a family reunion, she came up from her house. She was amazing to me! I couldn’t believe she got around so well for her age. We were talking and I remember telling her that she never ages. She looked identical to the way she looked 30-40 years ago. She never ages and stayed in great shape. Aunt Eva always has a beautiful smile on her face! She was always laughing and was so much fun to be around.
She loved her family! Her and Uncle Ronnie were two of my most favorite people in this world! It hurt my heart deeply losing both of them!

Dear Hannah (Bug)
I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately, especially as more time has passed since your great grandmother Eva‘s passing. Even though the days keep moving forward, I know that the feelings can still come and go, and I want you to know that my heart is always with you.
Your grandmother was spunky, resilient, and wonderfully bold. She could say exactly what she felt, stand strong in who she was, and face the world with the kind of courage that inspired everyone around her. Those qualities made her unforgettable - and they live on in you. I see her spark in your strength, your kindness and the way you carry yourself with both honesty and heart.
And I know you’ll carry those same beautiful qualities forward, passing them down to your sweet baby girl, Madalin Eva-Jean, who will soon be joining our family.
Please remember that you are never alone in this grief. I love you. I’m always here for you.
Love, aunt Missy

Where to start .. Hannah you are an amazing young woman who will always have a special place in my heart. Not only have I had the pleasure of watching you grow up through the years, I also had the pleasure of getting to know the adult version of you when you agreed to work by my side at the coffee house. You are by far one of the most mature young adults that I know. There wasn’t one day that our conversations didn’t include something about Grandma Eva. Your love for her was so obvious and genuine and sincere. Whether it was about doing her hair or grabbing her groceries or just time spent with her! I know you loved her so much and also know she was loving you right back! Girl, I’m so proud of you and everything you’ve accomplished already! You’re going to be a great and amazing Mamma! I love you!
Love: Deb ❤️

Hannah is one of my favorite cousins. She’s kind to me, she makes me happy, and loves spending time with me! I love her very much and can’t wait to hold Madalin. -Harper
I love Hannah, and she gives me all of her gum. She hugs me and kisses me and we share germs together - Lettie Bean
Hannah has a heart of gold. She truly is the absolute best and will always show up no matter what she has going on. I knew from the moment she was around Harper and Lettie that she already had the heart of a mother! Harper and Scarlett AKA Lettie Bean love you because you see them, hear them, and spend time with them. You treat your cousins like they are your own. Jake and I Love you very much Hannah. You are going to be an amazing Mother. We are so blessed to be part of your life, and soon to be Madalins! Grama Eva is so proud of you and will watch over you and Miss Madi ❤️

My favorite memory of Aunt Eva was the day she found out that Jenny and the girls were in Intercourse PA. I was spending the weekend with her when I saw Brandy's post. We were gut laughing so hard. She said "I have to tell Ron where they are". She was sure to tell him. I loved hearing all the old stories. I miss her so much. Love you always Aunt Eva.

Great Auntie Eva was awesome! I I loved sitting around her kitchen table, talking and drinking coffee. Her voice always sounded as I remembered when I was in my teens. I loved how she called me Annie. My sister, Cindy And I would bring loads of plastic bags clear from Texas to her. She would be so tickled. Aunt Eva gave us each one of her many bells. I have mine on my piano. I think of her every time I look at it. I shall miss her so very much

We all know how great of a person my mom was! She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends. Also, as we all know, as everyone called her, “Grandma Eva”, she was always early for everything, was very impatient, lots of times was very stubborn and don’t forget she was “the boss”, but she was also “the best” and we love her! ❤️

I have such fond memories of Eva! When we moved to Addison, Eva was our mail carrier. My husband was a coin dealer and received many packages of coins. Eva didn’t feel comfortable leaving the packages in the mailbox , so she would bring them to the door. She often joked with me about visiting my husband while I was at work. Eva was loyal to Hannah and always showed up for anything she was involved with in Kindergarten! What a kind and caring soul Eva was!

I feel like I have always known Eva. My dad and she both delivered mail and if I ever saw her out, I was greeted with that huge smile of hers!
My fondest memory is, almost every time we spoke, she would grab my hand in hers, put her other hand on top of it. No matter what the subject was, she would look me square in the eye and with all sincerity deliver the message. She was the sweetest, and one of the most kind, memorable people that I have known. She will always be remembered in my heart with love. I was honored to know her, and her family and friends were blessed with a “one of a kind.” Until we meet again, much love.

Eva, she was an absolute doll. She always had to clarify if I was Kim or Kelly. Once we figured it out, she and I would just laugh at how confused she was and saying how she knew it was me. She wrote me a little letter after Trish passed saying how much of a big heart I had and how much she adored me. But in reality, she had the big heart and everyone adored her. She always made sure to stop and wave at Ron driving by and occasionally would give us some sweet treats. She was an amazing lady that we will always remember forever ❤️

My favorite memory of Aunt Eva was the day she learned I hated snakes! She took my younger brother, Scott, and I along with her to Jasper to visit Anna May Walrath. As we were heading back to the car after our visit, a snake slithered across my path. All of a sudden I was screaming and running... running straight into the road as a car was approaching. Aunt Eva had to have run faster than me. She grabbed my arm just in time and pulled me to safety. After we both settled down, she talked to me about how to handle that situation and then said, "but never go into the street. I'm too old to run (and laughed)"!! Her laugh was so contagious, but the way she protected those around her was immeasurable!

Countless memories of spending time at your house when I was a kid, playing in the kitchen with all of your dishes and empty egg cartons, baking goodies and sharing them with the neighbors, sliding down the carpeted steps with my cousins, and playing in the old school house. Then fast forward a few years and you babysitting my children, reading books to Hannah underneath the old oak tree out front and chasing Logan around the house and thought you lost him, but he was hiding underneath the bushes! A story she told of him for years in great detail, if you heard it you wouldn’t forget it! So many fond memories of GMA Eva! ❤️

So very sorry to hear of Eva's passing. I remember my highschool years working at Gunn's Service Station in Jasper and having many regulars from the community stop in. Some would stop for just a few minutes and some would socialize for a bit. Eva was one to visit for a few minutes and then off she would go. She was always so nice to everyone and a pleasure to have as a customer. I don't believe there was ever a time when I saw her that she wasn't smiling. My condolences to her family, she will be missed.
