Howard L. Zeh, 78, of Brewer Road, Woodhull, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Corning Hospital following failing health.
Born in Jasper on March 2, 1947, Howard was the son of the late Nelson L. and Angeline R. (Willis) Zeh. Raised in the Jasper area, he was a 1966 graduate of Jasper Central School.
On October 1, 1967, Howard and the former Sharon L. Bouton were married at the Hedgesville Presbyterian Church. Sharon survives.
Howard was employed by Agway for several years at their feed processing plant in Erwin. Following their closure there, he worked for a couple years at General Marble in Hornell. The Pace Manufacturing Co. purchased the former Agway facility and recruited Howard to come there as the plant superintendent. He held that position until his retirement on July 14, 2007.
Howard and Sharon were members of the Hedgesville Presbyterian Church. He had raced stock cars in younger years. Howard was a talented woodworker, often building items for charity fundraisers or for use by various organizations. Not only generous with his time and skills, he was very generous financially to various groups that he felt strong connections with.
