Obituary of Brynlee Rae Ward

Brynlee Rae Ward, 4 months of age, of Cameron, NY, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, July 28, 2025. Brynlee was born at Corning Hospital on March 7, 2025, the dear daughter of Haley Woughter and Alex Ward. Brynlee was a very bright and happy little girl. She loved bright colors and enjoyed fireworks and especially the loud bangs and booms that went with them. Her loud and boisterous laughs would open any heart. Brynlee loved cuddle time and her chats with her Mom and Dad. By no means, allow your phone to die, Brynlee might need it to watch a dancing fruit video. She loved the feeling of others’ touch and in turn she touched others in beautiful and lasting ways. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her parents of Cameron, her fur baby siblings, Ripley, Brynlee’s beloved German Shepherd pup and their cat, Loofey, grandparents, Mike Woughter, Vanessa Woughter (Brian Grant) and Jessica Ward, great grandparents, Theresa Mattison, Sue Woughter and Rexford and Anna Ward, uncle, Kalob Woughter, great aunts and uncles, Samantha Hoaglin, Brandon (Tarea) Mattison and Katie Ward (Johnathan Hughes) along with many cousins. Brynlee was preceded in death by great grandfathers, Chuck Woughter and Terry Axtell, great-great grandfather, John Crane and great-great aunt, Brenda Kleckner. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 2 from noon to 2 pm at the Community Church of Woodhull, W. Main St. Woodhull, NY. Funeral services will follow there at 2 pm with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating. Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home in Woodhull.
