Dear Gavin, I’m so very thankful i got to experience loving you. So so thankful I was able to watch you grow, graduate and achieve your goals in life. I hate it had to end this way. you were taken from us too soon. You were such a sweet young soul. a brother, a son, a grandchild, and much more. you meant so much to so many people and it crushes my heart each second more you're gone Gavin. Im trying to thug this out for you I truly am I just miss you so much and it’s hard knowing I will never see those days of us ever being with eachother again. Like how we promised. Once we both bettered ourselves. and you did. During your time on this earth, you accomplished so much, and i'm so proud. I hope you’re resting easy my angel, I love you bunches!

I didn’t know Gavin for long but in the time I did know him he was always telling jokes and making people laugh, he was a very caring person and always made sure the people around him were okay, and that’s also what I admired most about him

I didn’t know Gavin well, but when I was around him he genuinely was a great person to be around. He was funny, upbeat, and he was making jokes the whole time. He went out of his way to make ppl laugh, and I admired that about him. He genuinely made me laugh the whole time I was hanging out with him, I don’t remember a moment of silence when I was with him, there was so much joy that came from his presence.

We've been thinking about you so much, and my heart just breaks for you. We can’t imagine the pain of losing Gavin . Even though we didn’t really get the chance to stay close over the years, please know that he was always in our thoughts. There was never a time we didn’t wish things were different, that somehow we could’ve all reconnected and shared more time together.
We’re truly so sorry for your loss. We wish there were words that could make this easier, but we just want you to know we’re thinking of you with so much love and prayer. He will always be remembered, and so will the love that connects us all, no matter the distance or time.

Q: How would you describe Gavin to someone who had never met them?
A: Gavin was a good soul that life hadn't always been so kind to. But he kept his head up and pushed through. My heart hurts for Anna, his siblings and grandparents. As a mother and grandparent it has to be the worst pain that no one deserves to ever feel. Gavin was so sweet and he loved with his whole heart. Riley and Gavin fought like brothers but loved eachother just the same. Your time on earth may have been short but you have touched the hearts of many Gavin, I truly hope you knew that. I'm so sorry for everyone's loss and sending many thoughts and prayers. Love you Gavin.

Gavin and James would always take my phone just to take funny pictures, but He always loved spending time with all of his siblings, family and friends. thats just one of the many reasons of what made me love being around him so much!

Gavin and I went to the same BOCES program during his senior year my junior year. I will always remember him for loving football but also his siblings I remember he told me he was a mamas boy. He would also talk about his siblings a lot and how much he cared for them especially his little sister. Condolences to his family he will be missed by many.

A: gavin was always smiling, playing catch or swimming outback. he loved his family and friends. he never left the house without hugging everyone goodbye.

Gavin and I went to BOCES together his senior year. I was a junior but we were still in the same class. I remember getting to BOCES every afternoon and he would be without fail playing basketball with his friends. He would walk into class right as the bell would ring with that goofy smile of his that would just make you laugh. He would always have his white girl music playing in the background as we worked which we would all jam out to. The classroom feels so empty know knowing he will never walk into class again with his smile, knowing that we will never hear his contagious laughter, or just that we will never get to talk to him again. I send my condolences to the family and friends of Gavin and I hope you make it through this tough time.
