BATH/EAST SYRACUSE: Louise A. Wheatcraft/Winnie formerly of Casey Lane, Bath, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, November 12, 2025 at the age of 95, at the home of her daughter Jane (Coley) Harrington in the town of East Syracuse. Louise was born March 2, 1930 in the town of Woodhull to the late Lyle and Geraldine (Calkins) Wheatcraft. Louise retired from Corning Inc. with 20+ years of service. She was an active member of the Campbell American Legion. Louise is survived by two sons; William (Debra) Davenport of Knoxville, Pa. and Robert (Charlene) Davenport of Greenwood, three daughters; Audrey Rusconi of Corning; Andrea (Barry Chrysler) Dannemiller of Bath and Jane (Coley) Harrington of East Syracuse. She is also survived by two brothers Larue (Glenora) Wheatcraft of Woodhull and Eric (Tammy) Sly of Tennessee and a sister-in-law, Jean Wheatcraft of Lakeland, FL. 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Richard Friends, granddaughter Carla Friends; son-in-law, Jimmy Rusconi and brothers; Lyle Gene, Leroy, and Larry Wheatcraft and Earl Sly. There will be no calling hours or service. Final interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Louise’s name may be made to the Bath Humane Society or to the American Legion in Campbell, NY. Arrangements are in care of the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home in Canisteo.
