What an amazing, father you were to Shelly and Daniel. I’ve heard so many stories of Unconditional Love from Shelly. I only meet you a handful of times and you were always kind to me. Heaven has received a true Angel. We were truly blessed with your love.

I went to school and was friends with both of Dans kids. I was very close to the family in high school and always admired and respected him for being such a good father and husband. Dan would take me and Daniel Jr. to the trinity river and he actually taught me how to bass fish properly with a plastic worm. That was worth more than anything to me. I love and will miss you my friend and will find you in heaven one day. Prayers for Vi, Daniel Jr, Shelly, and all the rest of his beautiful family. Godbless!

Dan was a great brother in law always willing to help out anyone in need, will be missed by me for sure and many others. I remember him as a very young girl maybe 10 when he met and married my sister Viola, we made many trips to Texas for visits. I'll cherish the memories forever. Rest in peace Dan

My dad is a great man. He was funny, kind and would do anything for you. He never met a stranger. I’m going to Miss him so much but most of all I’ll miss him calling every time the weather got bad. He would always call us to make sure we were safe. Love you, Dad Your daughter!!!

What an amazing man ! He was full of joy ! You could tell that he truly loved his family ! I’m glad to have known him and gotten close to his family . Loved hearing his stories as he came in to the hardware store where his daughter and myself worked . Telling about the fishing that he loved so much to contractors stories over the years . You Sir will be deeply missed by us all

One of my best memories is when I would go stay at Grandma and Grandpa's house. You and Uncle Johnny would play outside at night, there were alot of Big fat frogs in the yard, you and Uncle Johnny would chase me and Ruthie with those frogs and we would be screaming and laughing. We had the best of times back then. I will always remember them. I'll miss you so much.
