Duane M. Stewart, 88, of Woodhull NY passed away on November 22, 2025 at the Steuben Center for Rehabilitation in Bath NY.
Duane was born to the late Arthur and Mildred (Rice) Stewart June 20, 1937 in Canisteo NY. He was a graduate of the Woodhull High School and a former member of the Woodhull Volunteer Fire Department. On September 1, 1957 Duane married Viola Towsley, and made his living as a grinder retiring from Dresser Rand after 42 years.
Surviving Duane is his wife Viola of Bath NY, son Otis Stewart of Woodhull NY, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Duane is predeceased by his sister Doris Peters.
At this time there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Inc., Funeral Home Woodhull NY.
