She worked as an aide with Home Health Care, Inc. of Hornell and for the past few years Sue was a Direct Support Professional with the Steuben Allegany ARC where she supported her grandsons Matthew and Patrick, who will miss her dearly. Sue was preceded in death by her love, Frederick (Rick) on September 28, 2025. They spent the last 30 years knowing what true love is. They built a wonderful life “On Top of the Nob” where she enjoyed gardening, watching backyard birds and being with nature. Sue was a member of the Boyds Corner Bible Church in Jasper where she taught children’s bible study and was a greeter until she became too ill to attend. She especially enjoyed hearing the children sing. Sue will be remembered for her famous Christmas Cookies and special stockings she crocheted for every family member. She will especially be remembered for remaining selfless, gracious and kind. There will be no calling hours or service. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boyd’s Corner Bible Church, 4740 Cty. Rte. 21, Jasper, NY 15855. Arrangements are in care of the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home in Canisteo.
