Denise L. Martin, 68, passed peacefully at the Nicholas Noyes Memorial Hospital on February 4, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born April 9, 1957 to the late Donald and Jane (Amrhein) Myers, Denise enjoyed gardening, feeding her cats, along with the birds and deer. She also loved listening to Jelly Roll.
Surviving Denise are her two daughters Selise (Jason) Chiddister of Indiana, Melissa Martin of Hornell NY, sisters Debbie McLean of Waverly NY, Dorris Derring of Ohio, Darlene (Peaches) of Pennsylvania, and lifetime partner Dean Woodard of 36 years. She also leaves behind Dean’s children who were a big part of her life. She has also had numerous grandchildren, and many friends and family around. Denise was predeceased by her parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Denise at the Mayo/Boyd's Corners Park in Jasper NY on May 24, 2026.
Denise will be watching over all of her friends and family.
Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Inc., Funeral Home, Woodhull NY.
