We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our Uncle/Great Uncle Wendell. Though he was a quiet and gentle presence in our lives, his kindness and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew him. As a proud veteran, he exemplified strength and dedication, and in his honor, we are donating to the VFW to celebrate him.
On behalf of my father (his nephew), who holds him dearly in his heart, we extend our heartfelt sympathies to his wife, our Aunt/Great Aunt, and his daughters, our cousins. May you find comfort in the love and memories you shared, and may his soul rest peacefully.

I have many great memories of growing up and seeing Wendell at family get togethers. He was the kind of man that you would want as a Dad. Family always came first and his gentle soul was obvious to everyone. You ladies were blessed to have him as your husband and father. God Bless you all during this difficult time.

Wendell, when I think of you, I think of the unconditional love and support you gave. In the almost 13 years I had the honor of knowing you, I have always felt that love and support. You and Laura took me in as family from the moment I was introduced to you. I will forever be thankful for the wonderful memories you gave myself, Tyler, Maddie, Alex and Harry. I will cherish all the family gatherings we had at the farm with you. And I will honor you by continuing in those traditions. I will feel your presence when we fish, laugh and gather as a family. Wendell was a great neighbor and a friend to everyone. I will always remember him watching me hit wiffle balls in our yard. He would say you are good. He Will be missed. Condolences to the family.
