Obituary of Lisa M. Peterson-Robinson

Lisa M. Peterson-Robinson, 58, of Painted Post NY passed away suddenly at the Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester NY on April 22, 2026, with her loving family by her side. Born July 23, 1967, to the late Clarence and Dolores (Zapack) Peterson Jr., Lisa spent her life caring about and nurturing everyone around her and always welcomed everyone with open arms and made everyone feel loved and accepted. No matter how difficult her life was she always found happiness and a way to laugh. She also loved being outdoors amongst the fresh spring plants and flowers. Lisa always stood up for what she believed in and fought as hard as she could. Surviving Lisa is Brian Robinson, the father of her children; Logan (Miranda) Robinson of Woodhull and Shante (Taylor) Blanchard of Painted Post. She is also survived by her grandchildren Gracelynn, London, Molly, and sisters Cheryl (Ben) Hunt of Addison, Dolores Peterson of Jim Thorpe PA, stepmother Helen Peterson, along with many cousins with nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Lisa was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Helen and Paul Whittaker, and stepfather Edward Frazer. At this time there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Inc., Funeral Home in Woodhull NY.
