Obituary of Raelea Michelle Monson

Please share a memory of Raelea to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Raelea Michelle Monson, age 4 passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Though her time here was far too short, Rae filled every moment with joy, laughter, and light. She made the world a brighter and more beautiful place with a smile that could light up a room and a laugh so contagious it brought happiness to everyone around her. Rae was deeply loved and will always be remembered for beautiful spirit, strong will, and warmth she brought into the lives of others. Despite the challenges she faced throughout her life, she continued to inspire those around her with her strength, resilience, and the ability to spread love wherever she went. To know Rae was to witness a true walking miracle. After 13 years of infertility, Rae was finally on her way. Danielle was barely into her second trimester when a doctor preformed a quick ultrasound and heartbreakingly declared her “incompatible with life”, quickly discussing termination before walking away. But it was decided that God had already preformed a miracle simply by allowing her to be conceived, and He alone would decide her future. Before Rae was born, we were told once again that we would be lucky if she could breathe, let alone survive or thrive. But our God said, “Watch what I can do.” She breathed. She survived. She thrived. Again, we were told “You’ll be lucky if she makes it to one.” And again, our God said, “Watch what I can do.” Rae beat the odds at every turn. Time and time again, people spoke about what she would never do, yet God stood faithfully beside her, proving them wrong every step of the way. While she may not have talked like everyone else, that little girl could communicate volumes through her eyes and her contagious laugh. While she may not have walked like everyone else, sheshowed the world the greatness of our God in leaps and bounds. In her four short years of life, Rae carried a testimony bigger than most will know in a lifetime. Her life reflected the strength, love, and steadfastness of God – a faith that remains unshaken and continues to carry us even through our deepest grief. While Heaven gained a beautiful angel, her love and memory will remain forever in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the blessing of knowing her. She survived by her parents Zachary and Danielle Monson as well as her siblings Kyra, Deklend, Joseph, And Zayn. Also survived by her Grandparents Carl and Michelle Monson and Sandra Marr.
