Obituary of Christina M. Reese

Please share a memory of Christina to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Christina M. “Chris” Reese, 69, of Cty. Rte. 86, Addison, Town of Tuscarora, passed away at home on Sunday, May 17, 2026 following a long battle with cancer. Born in Corning on December 12, 1956, Chris was the daughter of Walter and Nancy Padgett Myers. She attended school in Addison where she was a 1976 graduate of Addison Central School. Chris had been employed as a Kennel Assistant at Corning Animal Hospital, a very fitting role considering her love for animals. She also was a homemaker and a loving partner, mother, grandma and sister to her beloved family. She enjoyed time spent with family, especially outdoor events. She loved going to the regional fairs as well as the state fair in Syracuse. Chris found true enjoyment in simple times spent around those that she loved and cared for. Chris is survived by her long-time significant other, Lorey Allington, her daughters, April Reese and Milessa Reese, all of Addison, her granddaughter, Evana Bowen, her grandson, Brandon Reese, her siblings, Doddie Burrows of Lindley, Monty Myers of Lindley and Ovid (Karyleen) Myers of Westfield, many nieces, nephews and cousins and her dog Snickers. Besides her parents, Walter and Nancy Myers, Chris was predeceased by her brother Wyatt Myers. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a future date. Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home in Woodhull.
