Robert J. Nusom, 72, of Painted Post, passed away at the Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester on May 27, 2026.
Robert was born July 5, 1953, to the late Claude and Anna (Matkosky) Nusom. He worked for 40 years for Corning Inc. as a mechanic, and after retirement, he enjoyed spending his time travelling and seeing new and exciting places.
Surviving Robert are his children Jason (Jolene) Nusom of York Haven PA, Amanda Rowan of Sabinsville PA, Branden Burfield of Wellsboro, PA, grandchildren Gracen, Gabriella, Genevieve, Georgia, Arianna, Elias, Landon, and brother William Nusom of Hollis, ME.
Besides his parents, Robert is predeceased by his two brothers Claude and Harry Nusom.
At this time there will be no services. Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Inc., Funeral Home, Woodhull NY.
