Rose M. Elliott, 67, of Campbell, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa following her valiant fight with cancer. Rose was born in Bath, NY on June 16, 1956, the daughter of the late Leroy F. and Edith Seeley Wood. She was raised in Campbell where she was a 1975 graduate of Campbell Central School. She married Timothy J. Elliott while they were still both in high school on July 14, 1974 at the Risingville Methodist Church. Rose was a homemaker and stay at home Mom and Wife. She was a life member of VFW Post 524 in Corning as well as a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. She and Tim enjoyed traveling and camping. They took frequent trips to Florida as well as to the western states of the country. She adored her grandchildren and treasured the time spent with them. Surviving is her husband of 49 years, Timothy Elliott Sr of Campbell, her sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Shelley Elliott of Tampa, FL, Herbert and Rosemarie Elliott of the Philippines and Nathan Elliott of Alabama, her grandchildren, Mackenzie Elliott, Mykaela Elliott, Kayden Elliott, Keeley Elliott, Karsyn Elliott, Andrea Elliott, Jessica Buda, Herb Elliott and Zach Elliott, her great grandson, Jaxton Heckman, her sister, Kathy Elliott of Arizona, her uncle, Charles Seeley of Florida and several nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Edith Wood, her brother, Leroy Wood and her sister, Ruth Appleby. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 5 from 6 to 8 pm at the VFW Post 524 at 281 Baker St. in Corning.
