Hardly a day goes by that I don’t think if my friend. Born one year and a day apart we shared a lifetime of memories in 30 years that ended far too soon. So much to talk about I guess it will have to wait. We will see each other again one day buddy.

He was my role model and my hero growing up. I worked beside him every day learning how to farm but I also enjoyed laughing with him. My favorite memories are when we used to sing together and listen to music in the car. I also enjoyed playing baseball with him. I love him and miss him.

My sincerest condolences to the entire Price family. I taught Tom 41 years ago when he was in 7th grade. I became a friend of Trevor through ministry efforts in the area in the last 6-8 years. I told Trevor over a year ago I wanted to visit Tom some day on the family farm and congratulate him on his accomplishments there. It is always a hard lesson that the opportunity put off is, at times, an opportunity lost. My hope is one day I may see Tom again around the Throne of our God, and see that great smile of his. My condolences go out to the Price family. Tom had a positive influence on the many athletes that he coached so well through the years. You will never know how much he meant to most of them, but his influence will always live on with them. Be proud of the contributions that Tom made to so many. RIP Tom.

Tom was always there for me when I needed hay for my horse! He was such a nice guy, always talking to me wherever he was, just an all around awesome person, would never forget me when hay time came around, even if he was low he’d make sure I got what I needed. Will be sadly missed, would always say hello and take the time to talk.

I’m so grateful to have known such a fine man as Tom and to have lived in the same community for almost 30 years. I will always have fond memories of our kids growing up together and talking basketball with him after a practice or game that he coached my boys in. He will be greatly missed and no words can express the feelings of sorrow this tragedy has delivered.

I have thought the past days about all the memories I have of my older brother.From the many "Ghost is on the Loose" games that he exceeded at with his ability to scare my sisters and I to tears or his playing sports in the yard that he often made the rules up as he went along to his advantage until we ended up quitting and him smiling.I always loved when he would say "Rhonda play catch with me!" It was never a request, it was always a demand but to this day, I remember the pride that built up in me that he would ask me, to play catch with him.The coolest guy I knew.I would eventually end up quitting the game of catch because in true Tom fashion, he would have no mercy on the fact I was younger girl.He would use the time to perfect his fastball. He had a very good one and I had a very thin glove.All of my childhood memories will be with me forever but I think the part about Tom I will miss the most is,coming home after living so far away and not ever really being "home" yet until I saw his face. He was the party, the Price who entered the room with such a bright light and smile. I have always told my own kids,that I always knew that what I had said or the joke I told was truly funny by whether Tom laughed or not.There were definitely times he did not and I heard about how not funny I was.As I sit here in the airport, waiting and wondering, in this crazy world these days, if I will be able to get to my precious mom to hug, his dear, sweet kids and the siblings who I love so much. I wonder what my trips home will look like from now on.For as much love and happiness the Price family had while growing up, it seems like we are enduring a lot of heartache as adults. My sister shared with me a song earlier "Yes I Will" and it has become my theme song these past few days, however,the "I" has been changed to "we". We will get through this with the Lord's mercy and grace and lift Him high through it all.
