Aunt Nancy was part of the yearly Christmas treks of my childhood. Our family would drive south two hours, from Rochester to her house, and no blizzard kept us away. (A few times we had to ram through snow drifts...) I would get a handful from the cookie stash when we arrived, then plan some adventure with my brother and cousin Brett. She was a "cool" aunt - let us get a bit crazy, but still laid down the law when necessary :) She came up for my high school graduation, and we always re-connected easily when I was able to make the famous Allen family reunions. I admired her toughness and generosity, and have a measure of comfort that she is finally getting the rest and paradise she deserves. May her memories be a blessing to the family.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to Nancy's entire family. I will always remember Nancy as such a kind, loving and caring person. My wife and I have fond memories of Nancy as she was present during the birth of two of our children at I.D. Her smile was so charming and unforgettable. She is now rejoicing in God's presence.

This picture of my Aunt Nancy is how I will always remember her! She had the best sense of humor and was always a joy to be around! Here she is clowning around at her nieces Erins wedding!!
