Our prayers to Ken and his family. We met Ken when he became a winter resident in Zephyrhills, FL, and developed a strong friendship with him.
Ken enjoyed our annual trip in March every year when we went to a spring training baseball game game in Tampa to see the Yankees play the Red Sox.
Ken was always ready to go bowling. We bowled on the Sunshine Friends league, The 3-6-9 league, and we still went bowling on additional days every week.
We dined out regularly with Ken and Betty, and spent most winter holidays with them.
Rest in peace Ken.

He was Ken or Kenny to most. To me, he was Gramps. My sweet grandfather. My mom was his beloved Kathy. It is hard to put into words how I feel about the amazing Ken Ball! I know this much is true............I am lucky to have been one of his granddaughters. My whole life, he showed me love. He believed in me. He was kind, he was giving. He was incredibly passionate about everything he did.
What I miss most, is seeing him at the top of his driveway at the home he built with his hands, sending me off after a visit. The pride he always was not afraid to show or express, I will forever carry with me. And granted it was not just me he did this with, it was with my mom, my sister, my aunt and many others that he was tickled to have see him.
I will miss swinging with him in the front yard talking about life or the sale he made or I made and him saying things like "BYGOSH HONEY, THAT IS JUST GREAT!!" You are doing good he would say...you are on the right track.....
I loved the summers I spent at his house as a kid, I loved riding with him in his truck up to town in Addison which he said AAAAAdison.........and going to the 5 and dime and him just smiling all the way.
He loved my mom so much, it was true heartbreak when we lost her and I know that for him, he would sit in his chair and listen to the song "The Wind beneath my wings" dedicated to Mom at her funeral, he did this many years........
We are so lucky to have such a fighter, a sweet one, a loving one in our world. I would not be who I am without him....
Today is my Mom's birthday and I think he is pretty happy to see his baby Kathy. :)

So sad to know that Kenny is gone, we were very close friends for many years. I always knew him growing up and then ended up working with him at Corning. Kenny was so caring and understanding with people, he always had an open heart. I went to visit him just a few months ago and prayed he could be helped. RIP Kenny, your friend for ever.

Our heartfelt sympathy to Ken's family. Seems like I've known Ken forever, he worked with my father, Lyle Jelliff, at Corning from the time I was a young girl and later my husband, Denzel, worked with Ken in Steuben. We always thought of him as a family friend. He will be missed by many.
