So sad reading this. Rita Jean was one of my all time favorite teachers! Loved her. She was our organist at the United Methodist Church of Hornell for years. She played at my children weddings. And she danced at my daughter’s dance school, with the Dancing grannies one year. Whenever I would run into her, she would tell anyone, she was with... that I was her 4th grade student...& she always called me by Kimberly, never Kim. She was such a wonderful influence to me. I will miss her....I was blessed by knowing her. Prayers to her family.
