Jasper, NY - Betty J. Graham, 72, of 2345 Five Corners Road, Jasper, passed away very suddenly at home on Monday, September 24, 2012. Betty was born in Wellsboro, Pa., the daughter of James and Helen Jones Bryden. She was a graduate of Wellsboro High School. On July 22, 1956, she and Richard I. Graham were married in Wellsboro. They were engaged in dairy farming near Wellsboro and later sold their farm and moved to Jasper where they raised their family together. Betty worked for a time as a waitress at the Texas Caf� in Hornell and also at Pearl's Convalescence Home in Canisteo as well as being a homemaker and mother. Richard preceded her in death on January 15, 2012. Also predeceasing her were her brothers, Donald and Robert Bryden. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Jim and Amanda Graham, Rick & Myra Graham and Randy and Debbie Graham, all of Jasper and Mark Graham of Gowanda, her daughters and son in law, Lisa and Richard Baker and Tammy Young, all of Jasper. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Thursday, Sept. 27 from Noon to 3 PM at the H.P. Smith & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Funeral services will follow there at 3 PM with Rev. Ellis Grist officiating. Burial will be in Jasper Cemetery, Jasper, NY.
