I am so very grateful for all of the wonderful memories I was blessed to have, sharing holidays at Grandma and Grandpa Friends’ home growing up. I will always remember the countless Christmas Eves and Thanksgivings spent at their home, where they always made me feel welcome and treated me as nothing short of one of their own grandchildren. They helped show me, along with the rest of the family, what family can be. Heaven gained another angel and I imagine Shorty and Eleanor are happy together once again, as they were meant to be.
