Jay C. Brewer, 74, of Kent Hill Road, Woodhull, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020. Jay was born in Woodhull on October 23, 1946 to the late Arthur E. and Julia C. (Stiles) Brewer, He attended school in Woodhull. Jay had operated a dairy farm in the Town of Woodhull and later was employed by Griffith Oil Co. in Woodhull as a bulk propane delivery driver. He enjoyed spending time at the home of his friends, Cindy and Joe Ribble in Woodhull. He loved to watch their daughters, Sydney and Tiffany play softball. Jay is survived by his dear friends, Cindy and Joe Ribble and their children, Sydney, Tiffany and Christopher Ribble, his children, Dean, Greg and Kimberly, his sisters, Sarah Stratton of Bath, Vera (Don) Lucas of St. Joseph’s, Missouri, Marie Liter of Leicester, NY, Lillian Brewer of Canisteo, Onalee McFall of Kansas City, Missouri, Bernice Brewer of Woodhull and June Brewer of Woodhull, his brothers, Daniel (Linda) Brewer of Oregon, David (Bonnie) Brewer of Addison and Mervin (Lee) Brewer of Woodhull, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jay was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Julia Brewer, sisters, Agnes Learn and Anna Atkins and brothers, Eugene Brewer and Kenneth Brewer. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 26 at 11 am at the Jeffrey Smith Jr. Memorial Chapel at Woodhull Cemetery with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating. Burial will be in Woodhull Cemetery.
