Robert David Schoonover, 48, of Flat Rock, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 14, 2020.
Born in Oneonta, NY on December 9, 1972, Robert was the son of the late Rev. David Schoonover and Elaine Rude Apple. He graduated from Melvindale-Allen Park High School, Allen Park, Michigan in 1990. Robert was an electronics technician and a very talented artist.
Robert is survived by his mother, Elaine Apple and step-dad, James Apple of Flat Rock, Michigan. Also survived by his sister, Kari McKinnon, step sisters, Patricia Apple and Jennifer Walters, step brothers, Jimmy Apple and Stephan Apple. Also survived by sons, Robert J., Cameron, Nicolas, Devon and Alec, 3 grandchildren, aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews.
Private services were held in Michigan and burial was in Woodhull Cemetery, Woodhull, NY.
Arrangements are in care of the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home in Woodhull.
