Obituary of Carmen M. Blend

Carmen M. Forto Blend of Elkland, Pa passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the age of 91. Carmen was born on December 7, 1929 in Elkland, the daughter of the late Samuel and Pauline (Civetti) Forto. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Wellington “Bus” Blend on July 1, 2011, brothers, Dominic and Fred Forto and sister, Teresa Forto. She is survived by son, David (Donna) Blend, grandson, Jason Blend and Amy Gill, granddaughter, Morgan Blend and Jeff Vance, great granddaughters, Payton Blend, Katerina Merrick (Brandon Masker) and Emma Mann, great great grandson, Griffey Masker and many cousins and friends. At her request there will be no calling hours and the funeral will be private. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Elkland, Pa, where Carmen will join Bus in eternal rest.
