Richard “Richie” William Saltsman, age 41, of 23 Orchard St. Savona, NY passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 in Bath.
He was born on September 17, 1979 in Muncy, Pennsylvania to Peggy Ives & Donald Saltsman.
Richie was a mason for Flower City Masonry and took great pride in his work. He was known for being one of the best Masons around. Richie loved rap music & sports. He loved the Yankees and was very passionate about the Buffalo Bills. Anyone who knew Richie would agree it was very rare to see him without some sort of reminder of who “his teams were”. Richard served in the United States Navy.
Richie is survived by his Mother Peggy Ives & Step Dad Carl Brown, His brother Raymond Combs (Jessica Bardo), His Niece Brianna Combs, His Uncle, Richard Townsend (Nancy Townsend) Aunts Patricia Hutches & Kathleen Rawleigh, Cousins, Melissa Sanford, Brandon Hutches, Trentyn Lewis and his daughter Ezmae Crane & her mother Erin Crane.
Richie was predeceased by his Grandmother, Floris Moyer & Sisters Tammy & Heather Saltsman.
Family & friends may call on Saturday, June 5th from noon to 2 pm at the H.P. Smith and Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, New York. Funeral services will be held there at 2 pm with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating. Burial will follow directly after at the Hedgesville Cemetery, Town of Woodhull.
