BATH: Cheryl A. (Carter) Brown, 65, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, September 26, 2021, following a brief illness.
She was born August 3,1956 in Lima, Ohio to Abram and Mary Lou (Justus) Carter.
Cheryl lived the better part of her life in the Canisteo Valley where she graduated from Canisteo Central School in 1974. She worked for Westinghouse in Bath, NY, for many years, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking. She had a kind heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Cheryl is survived by a daughter Sheri Brown, her mother Mary Lou Carter of Hornell, three sisters: Vickie Brady of Canisteo, Deborah (James) MacWhorter of Dansville and Mary (Dennis) McAllister of Hornell; one brother Abram Carter of Hornell and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Abram Carter and a sister, Nancy Kostarellis.
Private services and burial will be held for the family. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Canisteo.
