Eva M. Irvine, 90, of Five Corners Road, Jasper, NY, passed away at home on Saturday morning, October 16, 2021.
Eva was born in Jasper on May 3, 1931, a daughter of the late Archie D. and Blanche E. (Heckman) Foster. A lifelong resident of jasper, she was a graduate of Jasper Central School.
On October 15, 1949, she and Robert A, Irvine Jr. were married in Canisteo. Bob preceded her in death on October 12, 2008.
Eva was a homemaker and partner to Bob in the operation of their family dairy farm in Jasper.
Eva is survived by her three sons and daughters in law, Bradley and Sue Irvine of Bath, Brian and Evamarie Irvine of Jasper and Brent and Amy Irvine of Jasper, her grandsons, Scott Irvine, Corey Irvine (JoLynn Southard), Eric Irvine (Jen Smith), Craig (Ashley) Irvine and Trevor (Tonya) Irvine, 11 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, her sisters, Joyce VanSkiver of Canisteo and Ruth (Morris) Schenck of Greenwood, her brother, Jerry (Sara Lee) Foster of Painted Post, her sister in law, Donna Dennis of Jasper and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Bob, Eva was predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, June and Ray Alleger, Norva and Dick Marsh, Beatrice and George Welty, Helen and Wayne Warriner, Eleanor and John Fichter and Grant and Jenette Foster, her brother in law, Arlie VanSkiver and Bobs sisters, Phyllis and Harley Mayo and Frances and George Gage.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at the Woodhull Cemetery Chapel with burial to follow there.
Memorial donations are suggested for the Jasper Fire Dept. or Jasper Ambulance Corps., 3840 S. Main St. Jasper, NY 14855.
Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home in Woodhull.
