Ruth E. Joelson, 94, a resident of the Green Home in Wellsboro, PA, formerly of Osceola, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at her residence.
Born in Corning, NY on January 11, 1927, Ruth was the daughter of the late Daniel and Althea Welch Trumbull.
On November 25, 1967, Ruth married Yngvar R. “Bing” Joelson at the Osceola United Methodist Church. Bing preceded her in death on February 14, 2015.
Ruth was a homemaker and had belonged to the Valley View Assembly of God Church in Knoxville.
Besides her husband Bing, Ruth was predeceased by her son, Larry Trumbull on September 5, 2011.
Surviving is her step son, David (Donna) Joelson of Columbia, PA, her step daughter, Susan (Robert) Pierson of Painted Post and 4 grandchildren.
Friends may call on Thursday, November 18 from 1 to 2 pm at the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Funeral services will follow there at 2 pm with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Osceola.
