Obituary of Otto (Robert) Woodworth

HARTSVILLE: Robert O. “Otto” Woodworth, 50, of Bearlick Hollow Rd. passed away Monday morning February 28, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Otto was a lifelong resident of Hartsville and had worked at Sterns & Sterns Textile, Co. in Hornell for several years. Otto was predeceased by both of his parents Leon Woodworth Sr. and Greta Woodworth. He is survived by one daughter Sara Woodworth (Brendan Eveland), 2 Granddaughters Rielynn Eveland and Brooklynn Eveland, one brother Leon “Lee” Woodworth Jr. (Cinthia), one sister Barbara Woodworth, one niece Ashlee Woodworth, and one nephew Leon (AL) Woodworth. He attended and graduated from Canisteo Greenwood High School. He loved spending time with his family, as well as watching and talking sports. He enjoyed outdoor activities and get togethers while playing cornhole. Otto was a great friend with a big heart and an amazing dad and grandfather. His granddaughters were everything to him. There will be no visitation or service. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date. Memorial contributions in Otto’s name may be made to the donor’s choice.
