Obituary of Wilma L. Treat

Wilma L. Treat, 64, of Ali Drive, Addison, NY, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, March 31, 2022. Born in Olean, NY on May 30, 1957, Wilma was the daughter of the late Elton and Margaret (Harris) Pettit. As a young woman, she was employed in Franklinville, NY at the Ontario Knife Factory. She later relocated to Steuben County where she worked at Crystal Bakery in Corning and then as a cleaner at the Lodge on the Green in Painted Post. Wilma is survived by her children, Frederick Bloom of Addison, Carol (Joe) Catupe of Andover and Christine Stone (Judson Gigee) of Knoxville, PA, her grandchildren, Sara Wagner, Ben Hoffman, Harold Ducot, Makaylas Catupe and Kaelyn Catupe, her sister, Virginia (Melvin) Green of Ellicottville, NY and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother, William Pettit. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 12 from 1 to 3 pm at the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home, 1607 Main St. Woodhull, NY. Services will follow there at 3 pm with Rev. Scott Towner officiating. Burial will be in Woodhull Cemetery.
