James B. Dickerson, 51, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA following a brief illness. Born in Portsmouth, VA on January 12, 1971, James was the son of the late Marvin Dickerson and Linda Seeley. He was a graduate of Elkland High School. He and Veronica Gardner were married in Elkland on September 1, 2017. James had been a machinist at Ward Manufacturing in Blossburg, PA. He enjoyed camping and spending time around the campfire. He adored his son Anderson and savored his time caring for him which included fishing adventures which Anderson truly enjoyed. James was a member of the Elkland Moose, an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed a good game of pool. James is survived by his wife, Veronica Gardner of Tioga, his son Anderson at home, his step daughter, Ivy Gardner and step son, Kyle Gardner, both of Tioga, his granddaughter, Damari, his sister, Paula (James) Hamilton, his father-in-law, Roy McFall of Troupsburg, his brothers-in-law, James (Pam) Gardner of Elkland, Mike (Tammy) Gardner of Austin, Pa, Ernie Gardner (Karrie Kenderdine) of Knoxville and Edward Gardner (Thoma Hija) of Osceola and several nieces, nephews and cousins. James was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Eddie Dickerson in 2006. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 3 PM at Addison Rural Cemetery, Addison, NY. Jimbo was loved by many and will be missed by many. There will be a dinner following the service at the Osceola Fire Hall. Join us in celebrating James’ life. Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home in Woodhull.
