Obituary of Vickie S. Losey

ELMIRA: Vickie S. Losey, 56, of West Water St. passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (Dec. 4, 2012) at Arnot/ Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Vickie was born November 7, 1956 in Hornell to Victor and Shirley (Higgins) Losey. She was predeceased by her mother in 1996. She was a graduate of Greenwood Central School class of 1974 and furthered her education at C.C.B.I. graduating in 1976. Vickie had at one time worked as a transcriptionist secretary at Corning Hospital X-ray Dept., the Salisbury Association medical billing, the University of Mass. Medical Center Safety Office in Worcester, Mass. She also worked at the law firm of Bill Joint and Joe Latham in Bath and had recently been employed as a medical records transcriptionist at Arnot/Ogden Medical Center in Elmira. Vickie is survived by her father Victor (Catherine) Losey of Bath, nine brothers: Duane (Connie) Losey, Dennis (Jan) Losey, Michael Losey, Jeff (Gina) Losey, Greg (Jan) Losey, Scott (Kathy) Losey, David (Amy) McMichael, Edward McMichael and Shawn (Kelly) McMichael. She is also survived by three sisters: Patricia (Matt) Gambino, Michelle (Chuck) Chamberlin and Stacy (John) Baumgarter as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 3-5 PM Saturday at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 29 East Main St. in Canisteo. A private graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Greenwood, N.Y.
