CAMPBELL: Timothy F. “Tim” Carr, 78, of Lake Front Road, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira following a brief illness. Tim was born September 29, 1943 in the former hospital in the village of Bath, to the late Frank and Elizabeth (Wilson) Carr. On June 14, 1969 at the Buena Vista Wesleyan Church, he married Mary Ann Kent, who survives and resides in Campbell. Tim was a quality control technician for the Lightstat Co. in Barkhamsted, CT for 20 years, retiring and returning to the area in 2010. In addition to his wife, Mary Ann (Kent) Carr of Campbell, he is survived by two daughters, Yvonne (Robert) Jones of Newcastle, OK and Theresa (Matthew) Clarkson of Campbell. Tim was predeceased by an infant daughter Nancy Ann Carr and an infant grandson Benjamin Pratt. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Tuesday, August 30th at the Buena Vista Wesleyan Church, Cty. Rte. 69, Canisteo, where funeral and committal services with military honors will take place immediately following calling hours at 7:00 pm. Burial will be in Nondaga Cemetery, Bath, NY. Memorial contributions in Tim’s name may be made to the Buena Vista Wesleyan Church Missions Fund, ear-marked Pickett Family, 6034 Cty. Rte. 69, Canisteo, NY 14823.
