Obituary of Sawyer John Heffner

Please share a memory of Sawyer to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sawyer John Heffner, 27, took his final breath on earth, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday Oct. 20, 2022. Nothing brought Sawyer more joy than his time with his children and family. He was known for being a gentle giant with a heart of gold. Sawyer will forever be remembered as the baby of the family, often referred to as Poo and Butthead. Sawyer lived his life to the fullest, as he often said "just being a Heffner." There wasn't an outdoor activity he couldn't make dangerous while forcing his big brothers to join in the fun. Sawyer will be incredibly missed and his family will remain "strong like bull" as he has reminded us of every day. Sawyer is survived by his mother, Michelle (Wade) Root, father, Mickey Heffner, his children, Corbin & Blaise Heffner. Fiance' and mother of his children Katlyn Harris, Siblings Mickey Heffner Jr, Mandra (Sean) Mayo, Amber Carey, Nikole (James) Mays, Mieko (Calen) Johnson, Gage Heffner, Nikko (Natasha) Reep, Tristin Kitchin, maternal grandmother Sharon Wheaton and uncle Scott Wheaton. Sawyer was predeceased by his son, Oaklyn Heffner. We would like to thank our extended family and special friends for their love and support during these difficult days. A tremendous and sincere thank you to all the compassionate staff at the Arnot Ogden intensive care unit. Sawyer was an organ donor, leaving behind one last beautiful gift. Those wishing to make a donation in Sawyers honor, please consider donating to the American Heart Association. Calling hours with be held at the H.P.
