Carl W. Decker, 59, of Woodhull, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the ELCOR Nursing Center in Horseheads NY. Born on November 11, 1963, in Rahway New Jersey, Carl was the son of Foster, and the late Dorothy Baker Decker. He attended the Addison High School through the Coopers Career Center in Coopers Plains New York. He later became a screen printer for the local ARC. Carl was a social member of the Woodhull Fire Department, where he could be found washing trucks and doing other tasks around the shop. He also enjoyed working on race cars at the Woodhull Raceway in the pits with Bill and Roger Williams. Carl is survived by his father; Foster Decker of Woodhull, NY, sisters; Pamela (Norm) Foley of Watkins Glen, NY, Sissy (Raymond) Vanderworker of Danville, PA, brother; Timothy Decker of Woodhull, NY, step brother; Burt Fuller of Woodhull, NY, nieces; Nakisha Hansen, Avantika Decker, and nephew; Zyler Decker. He was predeceased by his Mother; Dorothy Baker Decker, step mother; Mary Decker, and nieces; Celia Decker and Pamela Estrid Jones. Friends may call on Monday, December 5, from 6pm-8pm at the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home, 1607 Main Street, Woodhull NY. A Memorial service will follow at 8pm with Rev. Brian Diffenbacher officiating.
