HORNELL: Joe O. Houghtaling, 69, of Tobes Hill Rd. passed away Thursday evening December 15, 2022, at St. James Hospital in Hornell after a brief illness.
Joe was born September 25, 1953 at the former Bethesda Hospital in North Hornell to the late Richard and Ethel (Ball) Houghtaling.
Joe was a life-long resident of the Canisteo Valley and had worked at Walmart in Hornell for several years.
He is survived by his wife, the former Faye Bacon, of Hornell, sister Ella Howard of Canisteo, several nieces and nephews.
Per Joe’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
