Lori A. Dennis-LeGro, 59, of Redwood Circle, Painted Post, NY, passed away at home on Thursday, December 29, 2022. Lori was born in North Hornell, NY on April 8, 1963 to Richard L. and Jean A. (Marlatt) Dennis. She attended Savona Central School. Lori worked in the hotel industry, formerly at the Painted Post Econo Lodge and lastly, at the Hampton Inn in Painted Post. She recently was forced to stop work due to poor health. She absolutely loved her job and the people she worked with. Of all pleasures for Lori, time with her beloved grandchildren was the greatest. According to her children, Lori spoiled the grandbabies immensely when in her care. Lori was married at home in Erwin on July 22, 1995 to James M. LeGro. He preceded her in death on December 13, 2021. She was also predeceased by her parents, Richard and Jean Dennis and her mother-in-law, Virginia LeGro. Surviving are her children, Christie Dennis-Smith of Coopers Plains, Adam Dennis of Savona, Aubrey LeGro of Painted Post and Jacob LeGro of Horseheads, her grandchildren, Cadence Smith, Jenna Smith, Clayton Dennis, Maverick Dennis, Jaydon Hilton-Huffman, Nikko Thomas and Cyrus Thomas, her brother, Kevin Dennis of Savona and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a place and time to be announced. Arrangements are with the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home in Woodhull.
