Obituary of Darlene Marie Foster

Darlene Marie Foster, 66, of Woodhull, NY, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Bampa’s House in Corning, NY. Born in Rochester, NY on January 16, 1956, Darlene was the daughter of the late Fred and Mary Albert Foster. She was a graduate of Horseheads High School. Darlene worked in the housekeeping department of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elmira, NY. She was an animal lover, be it her beloved cats and dog or her horses which she kept until poor health prevented it. She is survived by her longtime partner, David Jackson of Woodhull, her sons, Richard (Jessica) Dyer of Wisconsin and William Dyer of Bath, NY, her step daughter, Marie (Alex) Isbell of North Carolina, four grandchildren, including Mason Dyer and Leroy Dyer, her adopted daughter, Jessica O’Konsky of Corning, her brothers, Robert Foster, Steven Foster, Roger Foster and Fred Foster Jr., her sisters, Rosemary Foster, Elizabeth Evans and Marion Worley, her brother-in-law, Ray (Betty) Jackson of Georgia, along with several nieces and nephews. Friends and family may gather for a time of visitation and sharing on Saturday, January 7 from 2 to 4 pm at the H.P. Smith & Son Funeral Home, 1607 Main St., Woodhull, NY.
