I always remember Uncle Doc had the quickest hands in the world, and I loved watching him hit the speed bag.
Taking solace in the fact that he is saved, and the LORD has sealed his salvation for eternity.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Roderick "Doc"?
A: My Uncle Doc was hard on the outside squishy on the inside he always called me Bunk which was a nickname my grandfather gave me when I was born. He was so proud of his family my cousins and his grandkids. Live has a way of taking you in separate directions but he was always so strong kind loving and loyal. Qualities I’ll never forget and always feel when I look at his pictures. I love you Uncle Doc until we meet again.

I have the fondest memories of being a kid and taking tours of Uncle Doc's garden. I will remember him always for that and for the memories my Father [Rick Brutsman] has shared with me from their lives as brothers. My thoughts and prayers will always be with Doc's family.
