CANISTEO/HORNELL: Dale P. Mullen, 80, of East Main St. Hornell formerly of Ste. Rte. 248 (Bennetts Creek ) passed away Friday (Jan. 11, 2013) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester following a brief illness. Dale was born June 29, 1932 in Hornell to Raymond L. and Marian A. (Besse) Mullen. He was a resident of the ARC in Hornell for many years and was an avid baseball fan. Survivors include: one sister, Betty (Thomas) O'Rourke of Painted Post, three brothers: Richard (Linda) Mullen of Rexville, Keith Mullen and Gary (Patricia) Mullen all of Canisteo, and several nieces and nephews. Private calling hours and funeral will be at the convenience of the family at the H.P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home in Canisteo. Burial will be in Bennetts Creek Cemetery in Greenwood, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Bennetts Creek Bible Church, c/o Peter Suttmier, Ste. Rte. 248, Canisteo, N.Y. 14823 or to the ARC of Steuben, 1 ARC Way, Bath, N.Y. 14810
